Small-Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone, Silver

The Sontronics STC-1 in silver is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone designed to capture clarity and detail with Sontronics' smooth high-end roll-off. Recommended applications include solo instruments such as acoustic guitar, percussion, overheads, ensembles and choirs. Its standard cardioid capsule can be complemented by optional omnidirectional and hypercardioid capsules.

Three-stage pad and filter controls provide flexibility for different recording situations. Choose 0, -10 or -20 dB pad settings and linear, 75 Hz or 150 Hz filter settings. STC-1 has a 25 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and a 137 dB maximum SPL. Its 3-pin XLR connection requires 48 V phantom power.
