Description:

The Sontronics SATURN 2 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone designed for a wide range of recording applications. A digitally controlled encoder selects nine polar patterns: omnidirectional, subcardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid and figure-of-eight, plus four intermediate settings. Its linear frequency response is designed to reproduce the source naturally.

Recommended applications range from vocals, voiceover and choir to piano, harp, acoustic guitar, guitar amps, drums and percussion. SATURN 2 also suits woodwind, brass and strings, either solo or in ensembles, together with overhead, room and stereo recording. It offers a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and a 130 dB maximum SPL, with a 3-pin XLR output and required 48 V phantom power.
