Figure-of-Eight Ribbon Microphone for Guitar Amps

The Sontronics DELTA 2 is a figure-of-eight ribbon microphone designed by guitarists to capture the tone of a guitar and amplifier. Its pre-EQ'd response delivers usable results with less need for heavy equalization, making it suited to guitar amp recording in the studio or on stage. The microphone is also recommended for brass, saxophone and drum kits.

A 20 Hz to 15 kHz frequency response and 140 dB maximum SPL support its amplifier-focused design. DELTA 2 has a 10 dB A-weighted equivalent noise level and a 3-pin XLR connection, and requires 48 V phantom power.
