Cardioid Condenser Microphone for Kick Drum

The Sontronics DM-1B is an end-fire cardioid condenser microphone designed to capture the attack and resonance of a kick drum. Its pre-EQ'd response is tuned for kick drums, bass guitar cabinets and bass instruments, with recommended applications including trombone, tenor saxophone and double bass.

A 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response captures a broad range of sound, while the switchable -15 dB pad allows a maximum SPL of 155 dB when engaged. The microphone has 10 mV/Pa sensitivity and a 14 dB A-weighted equivalent noise level. DM-1B connects through a 3-pin XLR output and requires 48 V phantom power.
